One morning I was preparing breakfast and I had the news playing in the background. I heard this girl sing and I dropped my spatula and had to see who she was. Carly Rose Sonenclar is a 13 year old phenom! Her audition for X Factor 2012 was just jaw dropping. Peep it here!

Polaroid Bonanza
I've always been a fan of photography and have grown an appreciation for the evolution of the camera. Throughout the years I've accumulated a nice collection of cameras -- my handy dandy iPhone, a Canon G11 do it all, a hippie Diana+, a Canon XTi DSLR beast, and the aesthetically pleasing Nikon FM2 film camera. One particular type of camera that I've had my eyes on for quite awhile are the polaroids.
I appreciate the instant gratification that is allowed with the polaroids. Not only could you potentially distribute these prints but it makes for a neat collage for albums. The only thing that turned me off about them is that I want the same capabilities, but I'd like to be able to save my pictures on a memory card simultaneously. I didn't think there were such an invention that enabled me to do so until now!
Meet the Polaroid Z340 camera. It shoots a whopping 14 megapixel digital photos! You can edit pictures on the device before your print! Runs on a rechargeable lithium battery! Hold your horses, it even shoots video!!! I think we have found ourselves a winner folks! Purchase through Photojojo

Rockaway Tacos
Two of my most favorite things in the world are tacos and the beach. Coming from Southern California, taco shops are prolific and those present near the ocean waves makes for such a neat combination. If my life journeys ever take me away from the west coast, these are the two things I would miss the most. However, to my luck I have come across a place that offers these two every summer in the east coast.
Rockaway Tacos is a small shop situated in a beach community in Rockaway Beach Queens, NY. It serves the blue collar community and the local surfers. Together with a small grocery and surf shop this corner has been a staple for such a relaxed atmosphere. Go ahead and see for yourself.. Photos and video are from The Selby.

Drawing is like air and water
"Do the best you can and never stop.." - Stephen Wiltshire
180 degrees south
Jeff Johnson lives a life that many would envy. He's given up things like a permanent address, family, and material wealth, choosing the "dirtbag" existence that allows him to travel on a whim and seek adventure where he can. Inspired by old footage, Johnson embarks blindly on a new adventure, saying "If I don't get on that boat, I know exactly what I am going home to -- if I do get on that boat, my future is unwritten."
"180 degrees South" is not really a surf film, or a climbing film, or even an environmental film, yet it functions as all of these somehow. In a melancholy, yet beautiful and thoughtful way, the film tells a story of true exploration and adventure. True to the experience, the film is a little slow moving, with a very little action. However, there is plenty of adventure -- broken boats, unexpected layovers, and joyful discoveries mixed with heartbreaking realities.

Welcome!
It is with my utmost pleasure to bring you along as I embark on a new project that is Nobility Pandemic. I first came across this idea while studying different elements of the periodic table. It is quite fascinating what different elements will go through in order to reach a gold standard that is to share characteristics of the Noble elements. It reminded me of how as individuals we eat a certain way, listen to a certain kind of music, or even dress with a certain flare to either reach or express our own "nobility."
Nobility Pandemic is an idea of sharing things that make you happy. The things you eat, the music you enjoy, and your style are the most obvious ways one expresses themselves. Just like in nature, these aspects in your life evolve throughout time. Personally I can attest to the evolution of my own appreciation in things; from baggy clothes to bow-ties; from chicken mcnuggets to foie gras donuts; and from listening to a Wierd Al Yankovic hit to Yanni; etc.. Therefore, what better way to document things I come across other than to share it with you!
Hope you enjoy this idea as much as I do..
